☄ Mission Logs

THIS page is to allow us all a way to keep track of when missions have taken place and any rooms that have been cleared because of them- an example being that if two or three pushes take place in a month, there’s less confusion about when they’re occurring, and where. This will also help people keep track of when their characters might have accrued some favor for their requests.

There is also a handy dandy little additional note that you yourself can add to those missions for your character...in cases where something’s gone awry. Want your character noted as being difficult? They sacrificed themselves for someone else? All of that can go there. This is the information that group leaders would be privy to when it comes to collecting up a group for the next push; and can be a deciding factor in whether your character is allowed to come along next time or not.

☄ Push Leaders

OOCLY, anyone can decide to do a push. If your character has the means to collect a party, there’s no restrictions to who’s doing what, and when. However as of June, comes the collaboration of several characters ICly (thanks for being a dick, C̶҉̸̢h҉ą̷̸͝r̶̨̡a̛͜) who wish to implement a little more of a strict venue on how things are happening and when, to coincide with the improvements to communication, and to allow for both safety of parties that do go out, as well as ensuring our lovely mapping team gets the info they need to...well. Map.

Though the following information is simply a suggestion, please keep in mind that the current CR your character has can be vital to the success of them deciding to organize a push of their own. In such a case, it’s not advisable for them to jump right out of the gate organizing their own missions, unless they already have the support from older castle occupants who are willing to vouch for them.

Consider from an IC standpoint if there are enough people who know and trust your character to follow them; not only in regards to just tagging along to do the thing, but in the sense of trusting your character enough to listen when directing your party does come into play.

☄ IC Mission Monitoring

AS OF June C̶҉̸̢h҉ą̷̸͝r̶̨̡a̛͜ has been busy collecting a leadership team who are capable of communicating the success of their missions, as well as the success of their party as a whole. With this comes additional IC consequences to be aware of:

If your character does A Bad, and somebody is injured/dies/experiences a close call, that’s (most likely) going to be noted. This means it may actually be harder for your character to come along the next time a group is organized.

Similarly, if your character is a Big Damn Hero, and reacts to danger by throwing themselves into the fray in a method that could be considered detrimental to their own health, this is also going to be noted. Again, this could make it harder for your character to be part of a group in the future.

However, if your character is A Good, this might mean they become a little popular with the team pickings...after all, IC biases happen….

The behavior of your character should have weight, and whilst in some cases we aren’t really looking to be caught out, in circumstances where people are doing dicey things, being argumentative, or trying to play the lone hero- it’s important for other characters to be aware that these are going on.

The most important thing to remember with all of the above is that IC actions have IC consequences. If somebody blows themselves up in a glorious fashion to save their entire party, or they completely refuse to listen to anything anyone else says, keep in mind that this is the sort of thing other party members will take note of, and that sometimes, maybe a character will have something to say about yours.

We’re all big kids here, and this isn’t a system to bully others...unless, ICly, that’s exactly what you want to do.
