  <title>January Event: Let Me Learn You A Thing, Son</title>

The information was noted by the avatar, but as the months wore on without barely a peep from the disgruntled queen and her minions the idea fell to the wayside in favor of celebrations and much needed relief from past problems.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Unfortunately the appearance of the Starscourge has brought about new concerns and resurfaced old worries. Once again Ozuma has decided the time has come to teach what can be taught, learn what can be learned.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He still has the list of those who offered previously, but more lessons will absolutely be accepted. If your character has something they believe they can teach others, list it here, and from &lt;b&gt;January 16th to the 20th&lt;/b&gt; the classes will be held in the safe zones of the castle, wherever pertinent to the lesson being held.   <title>As 2017 Draws Near... [YEARLY State of the Castle]</title>

There would be too many things to go over individually, but I thought before announcing some important game updates I would take the time to throw some numbers out there just to get an idea of how we&apos;ve done over the past year and three months.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our current numbers stand as such&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Current characters:&lt;/b&gt; &lt;br /&gt;93&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Current canons:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;54&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Current players:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;44&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our total numbers beginning from Sept 25th until now&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Total characters:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;178&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Total canons:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;91&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Total players:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;87&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And our total IC tallies&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Total deaths:&lt;/b&gt; &lt;br /&gt;14&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Total missions:&lt;/b&gt; &lt;br /&gt;13&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Total favors granted:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;135&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And nearly 50% of the explorable castle has been uncovered!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Some of these numbers may not be completely accurate, but they&apos;re within a small margin of error.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But holy hell guys, I never, ever imagined this game would get this much love. I mean it every time I say it: all of our players past and present have been amazing, beautiful and oh so important to all of us mods. You guys make this game as much as we do, and we wouldn&apos;t be doing this if we didn&apos;t have such an incredible player base. We&apos;re always sad to people go when they do, but we&apos;re just as happy to have been able to be around each and every one of you. You guys all deserve a serious round of applause just for being your awesome selves and keeping this game alive and exciting! Standing nearly seven feet tall, with lanky, &quot;grey-alien&quot; like bodies that float and spring at intimidating speeds, the Hallowed Assassins seem to lack proper appendages. They instead have limbs ending in points with one arm in particular having an attached blade. A strange blueish-white glow edges the &quot;sword&quot;, and it is not a blade you want to be wounded by. Much like a poison, darkness from the blade will seep in to any wound regardless of how shallow or deep, sapping strength from the injured party. Standard cure spells and tonics can abate the &quot;poison&quot; of the wound, but if left untreated it will either eventually kill the injured or work out of their system within the next twelve hours, depending on their own strength and current health. Naturally bleeding wounds, infections or anything that would further weaken a person will only make the effects of this Shadow&apos;s attack worse.

  <description>Hello, Ravehnites! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Firstly, we&amp;rsquo;d like to thank everyone for their response to our poll regarding November&amp;rsquo;s AC, and how to run it. There was a lot of enthusiasm involved for doing this both ways- with a tag count included (57% of responses), and without (43% of responses).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The mod team have discussed this at length, and at this stage have decided to do a simple check in, rather than a proper AC.   <title>October Mini Event: Dance, Magic, Dance!</title>

An odd liquid (that may or may not be blood) has been used to write on one of the high walls; &lt;b&gt;great riches await those brave enough to venture forth.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What riches could be in there? Better yet&amp;hellip;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What else is in there? A log from the 18th to the 24th will be made for anyone interested in taking part in this mini-event, and further details can be seen below!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;big&gt;&lt;big&gt;The Maze&lt;/big&gt;&lt;/big&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style=&quot;text-align: center;&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://i.imgur.com/aj0EglC.gif&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Any character worth their spit knows better than to go into a strange door in the castle alone; for each of the specified encounters, there is the potential to choose your own adventure, or play up RNG to see what fun shenanigans your characters might get up to when it comes to running through this underground domain.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;big&gt;1. Start&lt;/big&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At the edge of the map are four, green dots. You may elect for your characters to start at any of the four corners, and all will lead to the center eventually. The starting points that can be chosen are:&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;North West&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;North East&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;South West&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;South East&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;big&gt;2. Monsters&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/big&gt;&lt;/b&gt;Any maze worth it&amp;rsquo;s spit has a myriad of cool monsters that one can come across. For the unfortunate, getting lost and finding one of the many dead ends within the maze will increase the chances of coming across those ominous purple dots upon the map, at which point, characters may find:&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;1. Minotaur- It&amp;rsquo;s a maze. You didn&amp;rsquo;t think there&amp;rsquo;d be a minotaur? These half men, half bulls aren&amp;rsquo;t the most intelligent, but standing at a good eight feet and equipped with large, stone hammers, they aren&amp;rsquo;t the type of crowd you want to cross.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;2. Sphinx- These wily cat women may not be inclined to attack at first, but out of all monsters within the maze, they are the hardest to be rid of. Capable of teleporting those who irritate them right back to the beginning, the easiest method to defeat them is to answer them these questions three&amp;hellip; or a riddle. That also works.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;3. Skeletons- Fresh from the skeleton war, these guys have a bone to pick with you. Unfortunately, they cannot be coerced with ketchup and puns, and spaghetti will just make them &lt;i&gt;angry&lt;/i&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;4. &lt;a href=&quot;http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Dead_Hand&quot;&gt;Dead Hand&lt;/a&gt;- Some characters within the castle may already be familiar with these insidious creatures, but for others, the first sign of their appearance is sickly, grotesque hands jutting out of the ground. Getting too close to them will lead to a nasty shock, as the moment a character is within reach, they will seek to grab and hold them there, as it&amp;rsquo;s body rises from the grave, and seeks to take you back down with it.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;5. &lt;a href=&quot;http://half-life.wikia.com/wiki/Headcrab&quot;&gt;Headcrab&lt;/a&gt;- THEY&amp;rsquo;LL GRAB YOUR HEAD, BY THE-- HEAD!!! But no really.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;6. &lt;a href=&quot;http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Tonberry&quot;&gt;Tonberry&lt;/a&gt;- These small, reptilian creatures may not appear to be much harm, and they aren&amp;rsquo;t, so long as you keep your distance. Difficult to defeat, Tonberries also deal an immense amount of damage; if a single blow doesn&amp;rsquo;t kill you outright.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;7. &lt;a href=&quot;http://okami.wikia.com/wiki/Blockhead&quot;&gt;Blockhead&lt;/a&gt;- these irritating living walls will trap characters within dead ends, refusing to let them past and loudly proclaiming that characters will never find their weak points. Characters will have to be keen eyed and fast to respond to take these massive walls out- or they could simply wait for them to get bored and go away. Spoilers: they won&amp;rsquo;t get bored and go away.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;8. &lt;a href=&quot;http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Boggart&quot;&gt;Boggart&lt;/a&gt;- a creature with no true form of it&amp;rsquo;s own, it will take the shape of one&amp;rsquo;s greatest fear. The more people involved in confronting the creature, the more confused it will get, leading to a horrible amalgam of their conflicting terrors. Word on the street is, the easiest way to defeat them is laughter.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br type=&quot;_moz&quot; /&gt;&lt;br type=&quot;_moz&quot; /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;big&gt;3. Chance&lt;/big&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Chance areas are less about hostile encounters than they are significant, and often odd, changes to the environment. The only thing to do in most situations is grit your teeth and keep moving forwards- but will you really want to?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;1. Tar and feathers- less horrific, and more humiliating. A suspicious black sludge covers the floor and walls of the corridor, emitting a somewhat odd smell. Characters will find themselves covered in the substance whether they want to be or not- it is tar, after all, and tar loves to cling to whatever it can. And at the end of the corridor&amp;hellip;. Poof. Hope you like looking soft and fluffy.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;2. Topsy-turvy- Characters who wander down this corridor will find themselves suddenly on the ceiling- or is it that the floor has become the ceiling, or the ceiling has become the floor? Aside from being rather disorientating, characters who take the chance and continue on will find things returning to normal soon enough.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;3. &lt;a href=&quot;http://undertale.wikia.com/wiki/Multicolor_Tile_Puzzle&quot;&gt;Multicolor Tile Puzzle&lt;/a&gt;- In the words of the great Papyrus, remember what the each color does! Red tiles are impassible! Yellow tiles are electric! Green tiles are alarm tiles- step on these to fight a monster! Orange tiles are orange-scented; they make you smell delicious! Blue tiles are water, which contains piranhas! If you smell like oranges, they will bite you! Purple tiles are slippery! You will slide to the next tile! However, they also smell like lemons, which piranhas do not like! However, yellow tiles are electric! If a blue tile is next to a yellow tile, it will zap you! Finally, pink tiles! They don&amp;rsquo;t do anything! Got that? Good. Go!&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;4. The randomly swinging axes- there&amp;rsquo;s always some randomly swinging axes.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;5. Indiana Jones theme- is...is that a boulder? That sure is a boulder- are you...going to just stand there, or-?&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;6. Icy what you did there- stone suddenly gives way to ice, leaving characters to slip and slide their way across the space to the other side. Unfortunately, slipping and sliding seems to mean &amp;lsquo;only going in one direction at all times, with no ability to stop themselves&amp;rsquo;. Less unfortunately, there does seem to be &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.psypokes.com/gsc/images/icepath1.png&quot;&gt;a way out of this&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;big&gt;&lt;b&gt;4. Goal&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/big&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Incidentally, this small, yellow section of the map is your-- well, goal! Located in the center (sort of) of the labyrinth itself, a nondescript wooden door leads into a room that&amp;rsquo;s seemingly safe to hang out in, at which point, characters will have the option to select from a series of pedestals with the words &lt;b&gt;choose one&lt;/b&gt; inscribed upon them. For those looking to RNG:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Very worthwhile*&lt;br /&gt;2. Not even remotely worthwhile.&lt;br /&gt;3. Sans probably left this here&lt;br /&gt;4. Pretty standard for an ancient labyrinth, honestly&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;small&gt;*Please note that very worthwhile is not, and will not be David Bowie.   <title>October Mini Event: Feels like Home</title>

  <description>By the time the first week of October is over, occupants of the castle might be wondering how it could get any worse. Plenty of people are homesick, and wishing to be back home seems more pertinent now more than ever.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So it&apos;s a good thing Ozuma is so accommodating.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Whilst he can&amp;rsquo;t quite send them home, characters can have a snapshot of it. Personal rooms will shift to accommodate important areas of a character&amp;rsquo;s homeworld; like their actual bedroom, or a place they felt at peace.   <title>[Muffled Nightmare Before Christmas Plays In The Distance]</title>

Safe.) and Ozuma&amp;rsquo;s shining presence has kept everyone back in routine of good food and vibrant lighting.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As the seasons change, so does the weather. Summer storms appear to be a little early, this year, and even a castle trapped in time doesn&amp;rsquo;t escape their effects. In a twist that many of the older occupants have feared the return of, with uneasy thoughts directed towards March, newcomers and various castle occupants alike just seem to...disappear.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Where they&amp;rsquo;ve gone? Who knows? But don&amp;rsquo;t worry.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We won&amp;rsquo;t leave you hanging for too long.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;The introductory event for October will have some time constraints to it, as well as the potential to opt in your characters as volunteers. Keep in mind the following:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;The event will take place from &lt;strong&gt;October 1st to October 3rd.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;There is the &lt;strong&gt;potential for death or injury if volunteering&lt;/strong&gt;, though this event is set in a way that it is up to the player if either occurs to their character.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Volunteering will be on a first come, first served basis&lt;/strong&gt;. Unfortunately, not everyone in the castle can be volunteered, and in situations where too many characters are put forward, characters will be chosen on a first case basis. To this end, the mod team is glad to announce multiple mini-events, to occur throughout the duration of the month.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;big&gt;&lt;b&gt;Trick or Treat! || October 31st&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/big&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With the big day coming up (you all know what I mean) what&amp;rsquo;s more fitting than a good old fashioned trick or treat? The mods have come up with a special list of tricks and treats, twenty of each. Down below, specify whether you&amp;rsquo;d like your character to receive a trick or a treat, and choose a number between 1 and 20; you could be (not so) pleasantly surprised by the outcome.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;big&gt;&lt;b&gt;It&amp;rsquo;s raining bats and dogs || All month&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/big&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bats. Bats everywhere.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As is fitting for halloween, the castle seems to have come under a slight bat problem, as well as some odd, glowing balls known as will o&amp;rsquo; wisps. Whilst both appear to be harmless, the newer species within Sol Raveh&amp;rsquo;s walls seem content to stay- and breed, as both will become more and more numerous the further into October it gets.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These harmless creatures will migrate elsewhere after October. The Queen will make sure of that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;big&gt;&lt;b&gt;Got my own monster(s) || 3rd to the 8th&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/big&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since Ozuma&amp;rsquo;s seen fit to invite multiple guests into her castle (unannounced, might she add), the Queen has decided she&amp;rsquo;s well overdue in sending out some invites of her own.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;From the &lt;b&gt;3rd to the 8th&lt;/b&gt;, the castle will be home to less welcome occupants. Leering out of the darkness, Ravehnites should take care not to go out alone; not with monsters like these on the loose. All of them are about as happy to be here as you are.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://freddy-fazbears-pizza.wikia.com/wiki/Animatronics&quot;&gt;A curious assortment of Animatronics&lt;/a&gt; will be haunting living quarters level 3 to 6.&lt;/b&gt; At night, their haunts will extend even further. Whilst non-humans and children under the age of 18 usually don&amp;rsquo;t have anything to fear, with the animatronics handy facial recognition systems, such systems- have faults.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;li&gt;For those taking a trip to the Chandelier room, trying to take on board some friendly advice. &lt;b&gt;Don&amp;rsquo;t blink.&lt;/b&gt; &lt;a href=&quot;https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weeping_Angel&quot;&gt;Weeping Angels&lt;/a&gt; will be haunting the area, and for those who decide to disturb their peace, getting out of the way may prove harder than first assumed. They&apos;re out for blood.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;li&gt;Does the Graveyard seem a little...foggy, to you? Mole hills of a disproportionate size dot the area, sometimes due straight into the pathways themselves.   <title>September Event: Awaiting Patch Update.</title>

The castle&amp;rsquo;s valiant heroes are left to enjoy a moment to breathe in the cheerfully pleasant weather, the worst of the summer&amp;rsquo;s heat receding as the trees begin to show signs of the coming autumn. All the best things do, right?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Throughout the month of September, you may find yourself caught up in a series of startling, though mostly harmless &lt;b&gt;video game glitches&lt;/b&gt;, from loading screens appearing whenever you shift between rooms, to finding yourself incapable of not jogging on the spot whenever you stop to speak to someone. What sort of game glitches are occurring seems to differ between individuals, but as any AAA title developer would tell you &lt;strike&gt;coughBethesdacough&lt;/strike&gt; there&amp;rsquo;s a lot.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This event has the potential to affect characters during their day to day business no matter the hour...or their method of communication. Sweet memes are made of thee, solnet- or perhaps whoever you&amp;rsquo;re messaging just decided they prefer their text upside down. Don&amp;rsquo;t be hatin&amp;rsquo;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;hr /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style=&quot;text-align: center;&quot;&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size: x-large;&quot;&gt;You and I see eye to eye&amp;hellip;. Heart to heart.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;The reason for these glitches, at least, does seem to be coming from good intentions. In making amends, Ozuma is going directly to the heart of the problem- as tensions run high between friends turned enemies and fragments of trust litter the halls, he&amp;rsquo;s decided to combat the Queen&amp;rsquo;s external influence with something a little closer to home.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Perhaps, when you wake up one morning, you won&amp;rsquo;t be alone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Throughout the course of September, characters will be seemingly connected to others by their very soul; only one at a time, but for some, it seems to be a recurring issue. This could be seen as a twist on the usual Soul Resonance (probably exactly where Ozuma ripped the idea from; he&amp;rsquo;s not that creative), the Other Self experience in Yu-Gi-Oh, or the- also aptly named Other Self experience from Kingdom Hearts.  Characters will find themselves sharing thoughts and emotions regardless of proximity or intent for the duration of their connections, even going as far as gaining the ability to communicate &amp;lsquo;telepathically&amp;rsquo;. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, with this comes an inevitable amount of overshare, and the longer these connections last, the more confusing it might become to remember just who is who&amp;hellip;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Whatever your interpretation, one thing remains clear- it&amp;rsquo;s time to resign yourself to an unbreakable connection.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Important notes for this event:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Characters will be capable of establishing a soul bond with one other individual at a time, for a duration that is entirely up to you! The longer these connections last, the more bleed over is likely to occur; whilst initially sharing thoughts and emotions, characters might find themselves falling into the characteristics of each other, losing their own sense of identity before the bond is broken.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are a few rules to this event, so please keep in mind:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;It is entirely opt-in, and by no means compulsory.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Soul bonds require the agreement of both muns, so please make sure to communicate with each other! Feel free to comment below with any intended bonds you&amp;rsquo;re going to make, and see about asking your friends to reply with their own consent.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Please limit yourself to four soul bonds maximum throughout the duration of this month.   <title>August Event: I AM THE SHADOW, THE TRUE SELF</title>

With the impact of the Queen&amp;rsquo;s attack still heavy on his shoulders, Ozuma&amp;rsquo;s last vestige of strength will be going into the collection of soldiers for the side of Light, and responding to the last few favors that may have trickled in during his absence.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Things seem to be a little more grim, after that. Requests made throughout the month of August don&amp;rsquo;t seem to be answered at all- or perhaps they&amp;rsquo;re simply delayed? The torches in the Safe Zones appear dim, some even sputtering on their last legs with nothing to maintain them, and the kitchen stock doesn&amp;rsquo;t seem to be in a better state, either. Among the general items expected, it seems that a good half of the fresher foods, such as fruits and vegetables, are rotten. In other cases, foods have been switched out entirely for items that don&amp;rsquo;t seem to hold any nutritional value at all. Cheese? We thought you said &lt;i&gt;chairs&lt;/i&gt;....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It only gets worse from there.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;hr /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style=&quot;text-align: center;&quot;&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size: large;&quot;&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Sol Raveh: The &lt;strike&gt;Empire&lt;/strike&gt; Queen Strikes Back&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With the Safe Zones compromised, the Queen won&amp;rsquo;t be holding back in ensuring that everyone&amp;rsquo;s lives are just a little less comfortable than before. Lone shadows have begun appearing within the safer boundaries, including the corridors to the living areas. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At some point during this month, her attack will truly commence. With Ozuma incapable of stopping her, she&amp;rsquo;s ready to create a new kind of army...those that reflect the living.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Throughout the beginning of August, the behavior of the shadows within the Safe Zones might cause some concern. Are they...here to attack? Considering the nature of the creatures up to this point, some of the more astute characters might notice that it really doesn&amp;rsquo;t appear they are. Skulking in the darkest corners of the room, blurry, head-like forms seem to swivel as people pass by&amp;hellip; like somehow, the eyeless forms are capable of more than instinctively going for the hunt.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Like they&amp;rsquo;re observing your every movement.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;From the 14th onwards, these assessments, if you will, finally come to fruition as the Queen&amp;rsquo;s test army appears. These shadows, aside from being &lt;b&gt;almost identical to yourself&lt;/b&gt;, appear to have enough intelligence to speak their own minds. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In fact, these shadow versions of characters may appear distinctly against aggression, at first. Their goal, if nothing else, is to root deep into the psyche of their &amp;lsquo;true&amp;rsquo; selves, dragging out all their dirty secrets whilst pushing characters with every aspect of themselves they don&amp;rsquo;t wish to acknowledge. It&amp;rsquo;s a spectator sport, of course, so the more people they can get involved with their theatrics, the better. Strangers, friends, and family; everyone is welcome to watch you drag yourself through the dirt!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There&amp;rsquo;s only two ways things can go from here.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For those capable of acknowledging their shadow&amp;rsquo;s words as the truth, the threatening apparitions will simply fall away, eventually. No harm done, except to your sense of self.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And for those refusing to accept what&amp;rsquo;s finally being thrown into their face? Sad to say, but you might just be in for a &lt;b&gt;bad time&lt;/b&gt;.*&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;small&gt;*No skeletons or small children were harmed in the creation of this event post. Any parallels between those living or soon to be dead is purely coincidental, and is, by and large, just a general nod to the fourth wall. Be it an unintentionally universal attempt by Ozuma to find the truth, or the Queen up to her usual tricks, no answers are immediately forthcoming as characters attempt to navigate the invisible landmines littered about the castle: the memories of the people around them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All throughout this month, &lt;strong&gt;characters will be able to drop their own memories about the place, leaving them for other unfortunates to get caught up in&lt;/strong&gt;. They could be found in places that your character frequents, or even somewhere far more obscure. There is no warning as to where these memories are laid out, meaning that for those unfortunate enough to have secrets, there&amp;rsquo;s no real way of knowing where these little secrets have gotten to...and who might see them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Initially, the memories will continue to work as invisible landmines, but as the month progresses, access to these memories may vary. The more your character has seen, the more they need to share, and they might be forced to give these away through physical touch or even eye contact. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Turns out there&amp;rsquo;s a pretty simple cure to this ailment, however; speaking to one of the afflicted and admitting to a memory of theirs you&amp;rsquo;ve seen. Should be easy enough, right?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;...Right?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Players can offer a selection of memories of varying types (happy, sad, bittersweet, ect) belonging to their character(s). They will return to the castle once this event ends on the 17th  (hopefully none the worse for wear) with memories intact of that special place, and the special people they&amp;rsquo;ve met there.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For the ones remaining in the castle, these sudden disappearances might be a tad alarming. But don&amp;rsquo;t worry; as Sans says, they&amp;rsquo;re just taking a little vacation time, heh.   <title>June Event: What&apos;s Yours is Now Mine</title>

  <description>&lt;center&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://i.imgur.com/6EmaMmF.jpg&quot;&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You all know the trope in some form or another. An individual that has grown up more or less &quot;normal&quot; (in the sense of lacking anything special about them one way or another) is suddenly gifted strange, exciting and terrifying powers. Be it by birthright, accident, or even an inexplicable change in their life they now have something about them that they must grow in to, learn to control and contend with all the strangeness and unexpected responsibility that it comes with.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But what if the power that you held was suddenly &lt;i&gt;not&lt;/i&gt; the one you had grown accustomed to. Your flight is replaced with control of fire, your telepathy instead teleportation, and so on and so forth.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Power Swapping&lt;/b&gt; is another commonly used trope especially in spaces where diversity of said abilities exists, and the castle is no different.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The heroes of the castle have gone relatively radio silent since the music event, and as such it seems that the Queen has done the same. The truth of the matter is that Ozuma&apos;s sphere of influence in the castle has gotten much stronger and larger, but the Queen&apos;s hasn&apos;t just gone away in all of this. It&apos;s still there, and she&apos;s waiting, watching, preparing to make her move once again. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is a push to begin exploring the castle once more, to take advantage of the multiple directions now in front of the heroes and cover more ground. For the first two weeks of the month the only thing anyone will have to worry about will be the presence of the shadows. However beginning on &lt;b&gt;June 13th&lt;/b&gt;, any people in &lt;i&gt;even numbers larger than two&lt;/i&gt; that venture beyond the &lt;a href=&quot;http://solravehmods.dreamwidth.org/977.html&quot;&gt;safety of the cleared zones&lt;/a&gt; will find themselves effected by something all together new - their powers exchanged for the powers of another individual. Rin Okumura&apos;s Satanic fire and inhuman strength will suddenly belong to Maka Albarn, and in turn Rin will have the ability to see the souls inside of other individuals is one example of how this might work. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Keep in mind this is &lt;i&gt;only&lt;/i&gt; powers, not physical traits (like Rin&apos;s tail), personality quirks or anything of that nature. The entire event is optional, of course, meaning no one has to make their characters swap powers with someone else if they don&apos;t want to.
